{Skylar's Take} In order to be an effective SDR, we call email, and outreach as many people as we can. In doing so, it is crucial to remain as time efficient as possible. You have an hour block for cold-calling, and you get the common “send me an email" objection. Quite frankly, there is no time to go back and write a fresh new email every time we get this answer.

Insert… Email Templates!

An effective email template should have a nice balance of personal information (for engagement) as well as a clear reason for why you called. Here’s how I like to format my templates.

Hi (Name), Saw (company) has….X, Y, Z criteria. That’s why I reached out. From working with other leaders like yourself who are also dealing with X,Y,Z criteria, they have expressed three main concerns:

1. Concern #1

2. Concern #2

3. Concern #3

Here at (your company), we help teams like yours handle these concerns. Have you explored a solution like us before? Chat soon.Add a personal touch & why you are reaching out —-> Pose a problem ---> Define a solution Simple & to the point. Of course, give them a callback tomorrow. ;) There is a world of possibilities when it comes to email templates!

Firstly, I suggest not taking time to write out email templates. Just copy and paste them into an organized source as you respond to emails, your library will build up pretty quickly! How do we organize them efficiently so they are accessible - actually saving us time?

Check out Klutch.app ; This chrome extension is an absolute game changer when synced with gmail. It stores, organizes and has your canned responses at an arms reach. I have tried multiple extensions and found this one to be the most user friendly, it is also free, or only $4 a month for the pro version.
