Linkedin 101 📚

LinkedIn is a gold mine. Calls can go to spam and so can emails. But, if someone accepts your connection request, you have permission to be in their DM's. That said, use this tool wisely & consciously to avoid burning qualified leads.

Here are some tips:

1) Consistency: All day - every day. Persistence with your prospects and presence on linkedin pays massive dividends. The more active you are, the more presence you create. In reality, this is the key to any role in SaaS Sales.

2) Sunday Funday: Your decision-makers work on Sundays, and so should you. Their DMs are generally flooded, so often it is the only time you will catch their attention.

3) Mobile Format: Everyone uses LinkedIn on their phones. Make sure your messages are easily absorbed at a glance, or intriguing enough for them to open the app.

4) Follow Your prospects: If you are a Sales Navigator user, you can save leads to make sure you are up to date on decision-maker job changes going forward. With email updates on key events for your leads, you’ll never miss a job change again. {Pro Tip: Do this with your Closed Won decision makers, when they move companies, that will be the easiest sell ever.}

5) Build your personal brand: When developing your profile & posting content, market your sell with content that provides valuable use cases without feature dumping. Utilize your company's shareable resources, and testimonials to showcase your product.

6) Provide Value: When you enter someone's DM's, send them information that aligns with their company's missions. Do some digging! Think about what is going to set your message apart from everyone else's & WHY they should respond to you.

7) Be professional: LinkedIn is for business. Use other platforms if you feel like being personal.

Weekly Podcast 🎧

Values vs. Goals

This is a quick episode that can get your cluttered mind back on track.

In Action: Start a value check-in as suggested in the podcast! Define the different areas in your life that you find important.... ie, career, family, fitness, etc.... and write out how you want to be in those areas! The goal is to contextualize what you value, how you are reacting, and where you need to realign in order to maximize your expected effort. A simple way to get back on track.
